Privacy Policy

The short version

Inkboo does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDK. Inkboo itself never connects to the internet. The only network activity is Apple's own App Store purchase flow when you subscribe or restore a purchase, and that is handled entirely by Apple.

What stays on your device

Your child's handwriting, practice progress, mistake list and character book are stored only on this iPhone or iPad, in the app's private container. Handwriting is checked on the device: stroke matching and Apple's handwriting recognition both run locally, and nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

The dictation voice is pre-recorded audio that ships inside the app, so playing it does not use the network either.

Children

Inkboo is a tool for parents to help their children practise Chinese dictation. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children, and no data leaves the device. There is nothing for us to access, share or delete on our side.

Permissions

Inkboo does not ask for any permissions: no camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location.

Verify it yourself

iOS keeps an App Privacy Report (Settings › Privacy & Security › App Privacy Report). Inkboo makes no network requests of its own, so the only thing that could ever appear there is Apple's purchase flow.

Changes & contact

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address and noted in the app's release notes. Questions: shadox.ep@gmail.com
